Terms and Conditions
Event attendance is subject to availability and restrictions. Ellen Kent & Opera International reserve the right to cancel/change events, venues or timings prior to the actual event. Upon booking an event you must supply a daytime telephone number or mobile telephone number in case we may need to cancel or change the event due to circumstances beyond our control.
The price shall be as shown on our website. This includes any applicable VAT. Cheque payments are made payable to Ellen Kent & Opera International and need to be sent to: Ellen Kent & Opera International, The Admirals Offices, The Historic Dockyard, Chatham, Kent, ME4 4TZ. Credit/Debit Card payments are available on the Ellen Kent & Opera International website.
By booking on our website, this constitutes as making an offer to us. A contract is created when we accept your application by sending you a Confirmation Pack of your booking by post. You must not disclose or sell or transfer the booking to any third party. Any booking made in breach of this clause shall be void. By booking an event with Ellen Kent & Opera International you are agreeing to all terms and conditions. Ellen Kent & Opera International accept no responsibility for any damages, direct or indirect, that may arise from partaking in this event to include, without limitation, physical damages, bodily injury, emotional distress and discomfort.
It is the individual attendee's responsibility to inform Ellen Kent & Opera International of any seating or dietary requirements prior to the event. This is for all parts of the event including the buffet and the seating in the theatre auditorium. The event includes what is listed in the package and Itinerary only. The gourmet buffet only includes the food listed on the enclosed menu. The menu is subject to change. No further drinks (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) will be provided other than those listed in the package. Additional beverages may be purchased at your own expense.
We use reasonable endeavours to describe events correctly but cannot guarantee that descriptions are accurate in every respect. This may arise where, for example, we have relied on information supplied by third parties.
Ellen Kent & Opera International is acting as an introduction agency and cannot guarantee that any person attending an event will successfully match another participant or that any successful match will lead to subsequent meetings between the parties. Ellen Kent & Opera International can not guarantee who will attend the event and does not verify the personal details of any person attending the event. It is up to the individual event attendee to verify personal information with other attendees, to their own satisfaction. Ellen Kent & Opera International request that you approach and contact other attendees of the event with the same caution you would undertake when meeting other people you do not know.
Ellen Kent & Opera International has no control over the venue where the event is taking place and accepts no responsibility for any damages suffered whilst at the venue. Event details are only available through Ellen Kent & Opera International. The venue and Ellen Kent & Opera International are two separate organisations.
Cancellation Policy
No refund, exchanges, cancellations or adjustments can be made once an event is booked. If the event is cancelled by Ellen Kent & Opera International we will refund your payment in full.
Privacy Policy
Ellen Kent & Opera International understands the importance of your privacy and will not pass ANY of your details onto any third party without prior consent. All personal details are kept on the Ellen Kent & Opera International database and will be used for correspondence about the event or to inform the attendee of any forthcoming events. If you do not wish to receive information about future events please specify this at time of booking. There is an opt-out facility available – please contact the Ellen Kent office if you wish your details to be removed.
Your other obligations
You must not engage in any abusive, threatening, drunken, antisocial or other inappropriate behaviour. You must comply with any request to provide proof of identity (including photograph and signature) and submit to security searches. You must comply with any rules or regulations or requirements of the event venue or with reasonable requests by us or the venue owner. We reserve the right to deny admission or to eject you without giving any reason if we or the venue owner consider in our or their discretion that you have engaged or will engage in inappropriate behaviour or otherwise breached these Terms &Conditions. No refunds will be available in such case.
