Olga Markova and Alexandr Balan are two of the youngest and most promising soloists of the Chisinau National Ballet. This will be their premiere tour of the UK as Marie and the Prince in Nutcracker.
Whilst still a student Olga won various awards at International Dance Competitions in Kharkiv, Ukraine; Sochi, Russia and at the Grigorovich Dance Competition, Russia. She joined the Chisinau National Ballet last year.
Alexandr has been to the UK before as a member of the Chisinau National Ballet and also the Russian Classical Ballet Theatre, dancing the Spanish and Indian Doll in Nutcracker, the Pas de Trois in Swan Lake and the Blue Bird in Sleeping Beauty.
